Questions to consider
Gather/Organise

What do I know about this?
What do I know about Google earth and voice thread?
I know that Google earth is a program that can show you all different places from a satellite. You can type a place in the find area and it will find it for you in the world. Voice thread is a program that allows you to download pictures on to it and comment on them and then download them on to many sites. You can also see other peoples work if they let you.
Have I presented material about Google earth and voice thread before?
Other than putting pinpoints on my house I have not. This will be my first time doing a project on Google earth and voice thread.
Do I understand what I have to do? Is there anything I don’t understand about this activity?
I don’t quite understand the commenting in voice thread and the embedding in Goggle earth. Other than that I had a clear idea of what we were doing.
What skills and knowledge will I be using?
I will be using my skills of knowing my way around Google earth and my knowledge of voice thread that Mrs. Beadle has taught me. I can also use the documents that Mrs. beadle has sent to us on how to do everything in my project.
Identify

What is the task?
What do I want to accomplish in creating a Google earth and voice thread project? How do I want to interest others in my topic? Do I want to present an informative Google earth and voice thread project that can be used as a reference? Or some combination of those goals?
· What I want to accomplish is that while I do this project I store all the information in my brain so that I know how to do it again if ever needed and also know my way around Google earth and voice thread more.
· I want to do a good project to inspire others to use Google earth and voice thread more. I also would like others to see it and be inspired by the pictures and learn more about our locations.
· Yes I do but not too much information that will bore the reader to sleep. I want just enough that the reader learns more about the location. I want an informative but fun project.
· I want an interesting and cool project that will inspire others that learning is not all boring.

What do I need in order to do this? What materials do I have? What resources do I need? Should I do more research on Google earth and voice thread?
· I need to get all my choose the places I want to do Google earth and voice thread project on, find or take my pictures, plan who is doing what and find information on my places.
· I have Google earth and voice thread, pictures, Google images, advice from Mrs. Beadle, a partner, time, laptops and all the essential things.
· I think it would be a good plan to find out more on Google earth and voice thread before I start my project. I can do that by using Google and the documents Mrs. Beadle gave us.
Who will be looking at this work? How can I appeal to other students?
My class and teacher, people that see it on Google earth and voice thread and the people I invited to see my work can look at my work. I can encourage others to try this project out.
I can appeal them by my good presentation, all my amazing pictures (especially the ones of the Thailand tsunami wreck), my fascinating facts and all the other exciting things in my project.

Are there examples of Google earth and voice thread projects or materials that I can look at?
The only examples we have seen are the ones Mrs. Beadle has done for us as an example.
What are the obstacles? What problems may happen?
I might lose my work or finish it too late. I have to use my time wisely and back it up so that if I lose it somehow.
Can I draw a diagram that will help me to visualise my work?
Yes I can if I want to plan it out. It would be a good idea because then you know what you are doing.
